I have witnessed few incessant strike couple with the millions of Nigeria and Nigerian who did too.Do we need hauling of the system or being passive as if we were never bothered. Most times it's as a result of the failure of the Nigeria government to fulfil the negotiation contract tabled before the two parties.Education is a process from known to unknown then to the reality of the learners and better usage (Ajado Joseph Babatunde, 2019).
It has never felt so good seeing how education has turned into;in a state of total collapse and decay. This strike has turned to a tradition where by you see the unity of these educational bodies for sincerity of funds based on their agreement by the Nigeria government. It has been said that the only language Nigeria government understand is strike.Following due process and not acting above the law would not give a desired output.
The painful part is that they are representing our collective interest and seemingly not performing as expected.Over the years it has always been the longer the strike the more the government would take them so serious.
Eventually the students are the one who will feel the heat of the matter the most.We are in a pathetic situation where by we act as if there is no constitution guiding our existence. Anything is possible in my dear country Nigeria. Subject people to a very harsh condition thinking it's a life experience.
My take on the strike issues
(1)It make them to wonder if they will ever become the leaders of tomorrow.
(2)It frustrates the capacity of any youth if the system cannot cater for their needs.
(3)It brings about a dim hope for the future on the students.
(4)It question the saying that the older you become the more wisdom you get. Hence, the reverse is the case.
(5)Giving lip service to education instead of disbursing funds for its national growth and development.
(6)Proper renumeration and welfarism should be emphasized because they are contributing to the Nation's building through their professionalism.
(7)Building a system that would outlive their existing structure.
(8)The Nigeria government and educational bodies should ensure that this warning strike is for the betterment of Nigeria students and education.
(9)The Nigeria students should for once enjoy the dividend of democracy, welfarism, good education and roads, safety job placement, good packaged salaries.
(10)If the government wants to put a lasting solution to the incessant strike there should be a conviction and commitment on the part of these educational bodies and government where they are not politicising matter but as a matter of urgency gives them what they wanted. And that there is a monitoring team to be checking the growth of the educational sector vis-a-vis the disbursement.
