Nigeria suffered a major defeat with Algeria when they failed to qualify for the final competition. All hope was not lost but saw them qualified for the third place. At the opening of the 45 minutes match.

In just three minutes of play. Nigeria scored their first goal by Ighalo. Nigeria were impressive had many opportunities to score another goal but couldn't. Eventually had one goal score line for the first half

Second half started with both team ready to take the lead. Algeria pressing to level up but Nigeria looking for more goals. The game was not too incredible, more defensive play, tackling on both sides,slow passing,weak dribbling,unnecessary sluggishness on the football pitch.

The game was not entertaining until they blow the final whistle. Nigeria our dear country emerge victorious for the 3rd place. Up Nigeria!Up Nigeria!!Up Nigeria!!!
